Typically requires: Bachelors’ degree in Instructional Design Technology, Education, Psychology, Educational Technology or related field and a minimum of five years applied experience in instructional design and development in the field of education. This includes e-learning content development (instructional design documents, storyboards, scripts, outlines, project plans) and user interface conceptualization.
Desirable: Masters’ degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Education, Educational Technology, Instructional Technology, Instructional Design Technology or related field, teaching experience and association or non-profit experience preferred.
This position requires:
•Demonstrated experience teaching in and/or managing a Content Management System or Learning Management Systems (Moodle, Blackboard, Adobe Connect Pro, Sakai)
•Knowledge of Instructional Design Principles: Understands complex challenges for professional and classroom learning and interprets challenges into innovative learning opportunities which are based on pedagogically-sound curriculum, instruction and assessment practices.

Finger dexterity is needed to access, enter and retrieve data using a computer keyboard, typewriter keyboard or calculator and to operate standard office equipment. The position occasionally bends, stoops, reaches, pushes and pulls drawers to retrieve and file information and lifts and carries reports and records that typically weigh less than 20 pounds.
Some business travel required which includes both air and land transportation. It may be necessary to handle personal luggage and operate a motor vehicle. The position must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds when preparing for a conference, meeting, or exhibition.
